Last year we decided that we wanted to start a new family tradition and give our two kids (and us) an adventure for Christmas: 4 days in someplace new to enjoy each other, make memories, and not have a million people to visit. Truth: My Happy Place was not as happy today. We surprised our 5 year old with her first haircut at The Barber Shop in Magic Kingdom. I planned for weeks and worked hard at getting her an appointment (seriously though, it shouldn’t be as hard as it is). I was excited; I couldn’t wait to see her face when we told her what we were doing! Let me tell you how that went as we stood in front of The Barber Shop, David ready with the camera to take pictures of her happy little face… ”Cadence, we are here to let you finally get your first haircut!
